The International Family Law Group is very sad to announce the death of Denise Carter OBE after a very short illness.
Denise was a Consultant at the practice for many years, was Head of Mediation Services and Director of Marketing.
Denise was a foremost advocate for abducted children and for many years and the instigator of the groundbreaking project for mediation in child abduction. She was acknowledged and respected for her work worldwide, receiving an OBE for services to child abduction.
She was the co-founder and Chair of Reunite which is the leading charity providing advice, support and assistance to parents of abducted children.
The firm is deeply saddened by the loss of this outstanding and dedicated former colleague and friend who has done so much for countless parents, around the world for so many decades.
